This is Professor Zero, writing in memory of Paulo Freire. Here, we think from the ground up, keep our eyes on what is essential, and throw out the trash.

My photograph, taken in February of 2003, is from the Casa de la Muerte at Copán, Honduras.

My name was derived from the Comandante Cero (several, Nicaragua) and the Delegado Cero (formerly Subcomandante Marcos, Chiapas, Mexico).
